EMT TRAINING
Prepare to serve with skill, compassion, and purpose through Gideon Rescue Company’s accelerated EMT training program.
About the Course
This intensive 10-week, 156-hour course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue EMT certification, prepare for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam, and serve effectively in emergency medical settings.
The EMT course is offered as part of Gideon Rescue Company’s faith-based Leadership Program. A Bible course is included in the program’s daily schedule and is open to EMT students.
Who Should Apply?
This course is designed for individuals who:
- Want to train for service as an emergency medical technician
- Plan to prepare for the NREMT certification exam
- Are ready for an accelerated and demanding learning experience
- Respect the Christian mission, values, and goals of Gideon Rescue Company’s Leadership Program
Course Schedule
- Tentative start date: October 2
- Final day: December 15
- Tentative break: October 26–November 5
TUITION AND COSTS
Course tuition is $2,500.
Books and certain supplies are not included in tuition.
Students should plan for additional expenses such as:
- Blood pressure cuff
- Stethoscope
- Required books and course materials
- Any other personal or clinical supplies
A complete list of required materials will be provided before the course begins.
Clinical experience is an important part of the course. Clinical scheduling will begin several weeks into the program, and each student will be responsible for arranging and completing the required clinical experience according to program guidelines.

HOUSING AND MEALS
Affordable housing may be available on a limited, case-by-case basis.
Please contact us to discuss availability and pricing.
A full kitchen is available for students who wish to prepare their own meals.
Students are responsible for purchasing and preparing their food.
EMT students may also have the option to join the Leadership Program meal plan for $200 per month. Participants share responsibility for meal planning, preparation, and cleanup.
