We were able to utilize our K9s in helping many people find their missing family members. The people of Turkey were so grateful that we came from America to help them in their time of need. We were able to pray with so many people, even though we had different religions and beliefs, the love of Jesus brought us together. My most memorable moment was with a woman who lost her niece and her six children in the earthquake and no one would help her. Our team wanted to aid her in any way we could. Our K9s searched the rubble for her loved ones several times to pinpoint their location and then several of our team members worked for days to help recover the remains of her loved ones. The gratitude this woman felt for the compassion and love our team gave her could not be expressed loud enough. She even burst out shouting at the top of her lungs, how we had come from across the world and helped her when her own countrymen had not. I will never forget when I held this woman in my arms, and felt her pain and we cried tears together as the team prayed with her and expressed our love for her and the people of Turkey.
